The PillSafety devices is a pill dispenser that limits how frequently a patient can take prescription narcotics.  Patients must return the device intact to receive a new prescription.  The PillSafety will decrease the chances of innocent patients becoming addicted and make illicit access to prescription narcotics more difficult.  Patients who are tempted to take pills more frequently than they need to are unlikely to go so far as to destroy the solidly constructed PillSafety.

The PillSafety Device can help provide safety for the patient and the community. We strive to assist in preventing life-threatening overdose, even death, of vulnerable children, teens and the elderly. Our schools and streets should benefit from the deterrence of theft, and the illegal sale and distribution of prescription medication, which is so easily available with the standard prescription bottles in use today.

Though, the PillSafety device cannot be the sole solution to prescription drug abuse in the United States. Rather, RAMM Technologies believe solving the complex problems associated with prescription drug abuse requires a comprehensive approach that employs a collection of tools including the criminal justice system, educational programs, outreach programs and treatment for addicts, and innovative technology aimed at preventing drug abuse.
